Boiler help for Blackburn
Is Plymouth Project Company No.1 Limited Gas Safe registered?
This directory does not confirm registration. Anyone working on a gas boiler in the UK must be on the Gas Safe Register, so check it directly using the company name or the postcode (BB1 2LD) before booking, and ask to see the engineer's Gas Safe ID card on the day.
How much does a boiler repair cost in Blackburn?
Most boiler repairs in Blackburn come in between £120 and £300 depending on the fault and parts. A diagnostic or call-out visit is often £60 to £90, and is sometimes credited against the repair if you go ahead. Get two or three written quotes before agreeing to work.
Is a new boiler covered by a warranty?
New boilers typically carry a 5 to 12 year manufacturer warranty. It is conditional on the boiler being registered shortly after installation and serviced every year by a Gas Safe registered engineer, so keep your service records.
What should I do if I can smell gas?
Turn the gas off at the meter, open windows, avoid light switches and naked flames, leave the property, and call the National Gas Emergency line on 0800 111 999. Do not wait for a routine appointment.
