Boiler help for Newcastle Under Lyme

Is Novus Biomass Limited Gas Safe registered?
This directory does not confirm registration. Anyone working on a gas boiler in the UK must be on the Gas Safe Register, so check it directly using the company name or the postcode (ST5 2AE) before booking, and ask to see the engineer's Gas Safe ID card on the day.
How often does a boiler need servicing?
Once a year for a gas boiler, ideally before winter. An annual service by a Gas Safe registered engineer keeps most manufacturer warranties valid, and for a rented home it is the landlord's legal duty (the CP12 gas safety record).
Can I see reviews for Novus Biomass Limited?
Not here. This is a register-based directory, not a review site. Look at independent review platforms, ask the engineer for recent local references, and confirm Gas Safe registration before any work starts.
Should I repair or replace my boiler?
A repair makes sense on an otherwise sound boiler. Replacement is usually the better value once a boiler is past 10 to 12 years old, parts are hard to get, breakdowns are frequent, or efficiency has dropped. Ask the engineer to price both where a repair is borderline.
Is a new boiler covered by a warranty?
New boilers typically carry a 5 to 12 year manufacturer warranty. It is conditional on the boiler being registered shortly after installation and serviced every year by a Gas Safe registered engineer, so keep your service records.
